Sunday Community Time

Some say coffee fuels Christian churches. It is true that many Episcopal Churches have a "Coffee Hour" after their Sunday service. It never lasts an hour but that's the lonjg standinmg namer pepople use. Here we focus less on the coffee and food and more on what's really important: time for connecting with other people. That's one way we build community.

Sunday Community Time is a time to meet people, to discuss, to share, to hear new voices. Building community is important to us here at the Church of the Holy Spirit. For some of us, this time after church is our time each week to connect with other people. This may be our weekly break from isolation. It is a chance to talk with someone about something else than what’s going on at work. This is also a time when we can welcome new folks. We’re not going to try to sign you up for a church committee or push you to join one of our small groups. We’re just going to welcome you and introduce you to some of the people in our church family.
