Weddings

We will marry straight and same sex couples.

As an Episcopal Church, we believe all couples have a right to be married.

If you are interested in being married or having a civil marriage blessed at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, please contact the Vicar. You can expect to meet with Fr. Tom so he can hear your plans and we can reserve the church.

You can also expect to join in a series of conversations beforehand to plan the service and to explore a Christian understanding of marriage. Some form of marriage preparation or counseling is also required by the Episcopal Church.

We are happy to marry divorced persons, but we will must recieve the consent of the Episcoapl Bishop of Connecticut.

Finally, to be married in the Episcopal Church, one member of the couple must be a baptized Christian of any Christian tradition.

Costs vary depending on the services requested and whether those involved are active members of the church.
